show me where baby 1998 6” x 96” x 12” skin, hardware, text A large panel constructed of hundreds of smaller pieces of stretched and dried pieces of hog intestine (sausage casing) is suspended from the ceiling. The text “show me where…” is stamped on the front and back. The skin is translucent so you can see the text from either side. Four small mobile panels approximately 12” x 12” each bear the text “baby”. They are attached by eyelets and hooks to pulleys, two each 3” and 6” away on either side of the large centre panel. The small panels can be maneuvered along the sides of the larger structure. There are vials of stuff suspended from the mobile parts. Meant to be my first interactive piece, no one touched it. |
