edmund law graduated in 1998 with distinction from the Ontario College of Art and Design. During 1996-97, he studied in Florence, Italy, at the off-campus studio. In 1999 he became a co-founder of A.W.O.L. Gallery and Studios.

law works with unconventional materials (such as skin, sweat, fly wings, stolen property etc.), combining them with others into technical and emotional works that are as unusual as they are moving. While there is an element of uncertainty to this use of material, his work is carefully planned. Moreover, beyond it’s formal appearance it is infused with discriminate sensitivity and poetic narrative. law has exhibited consistently since 1994. He currently lives, works and plays in Toronto.
